Julius Caesar
Julius Caesar has become a tyrant.
Cassius sees the threat. Brutus is torn by loyalty. Together, they conspire to kill Caesar.
When Cassius and Brutus murder Caesar in full public view on the Ides of March, they think they have heralded a new political age.
Instead, chaos erupts, and civil war begins.
Who will seize power?
Will this bring conflict or stability?
Will the new ruler also fall to corruption?
Adapted and directed by Anna Coombs with John Pfumojena’s original music, this high-energy production brings African-inspired storytelling into the heart of ancient Rome.

The Speculators is a razor-sharp, darkly funny modern adaptation of Aristophanes' The Clouds, reimagined in the heart of Dalston. The Bakkhai
The Bakkhai
Euripides - A new version by Anne Carson
Madness or divine ecstasy? The Bakkhai is a gripping exploration of power, repression, and the fragile line between reason and chaos. As Dionysos descends upon Thebes, the city is consumed by a fever of liberation and destruction. At its heart, this ancient tragedy confronts modern struggles with identity, control, and mental health—examining how society treats those who refuse to conform. When the mind is pushed to its limits, will Thebes embrace the cure or succumb to the madness?

Nine Moons
“A wonderful creation”★★★★★ Theatre, Films and Art reviews
“Shocking, thought-provoking, entertaining.” London Pub Theatres
“A magical debut that inspired, moved and enlightened our audiences” Mrs Cs Collective
Living on the edge of Kent’s Romney Marshes, three teenage girls struggle to navigate a path forward. Sage has an abhorrence of her body hair, suffers with painful periods, and fears she’s a borderline freak. Danni works tirelessly to cultivate the perfect body but is that the only reason she spends all her time at the gym? Loukia, the new girl from the city arrives with attitude, some strange ideas, and the biggest secret of all.
A play about hair, blood and guts, this rites-of-passage story with a supernatural twist unfolds through nine lunar cycles and explores the relationship of women to their bodies, the world and each other. Nine Moons places a feminist lens over a well-worn horror trope to explore the power of self-acceptance and female solidarity. This lycanthropic tale is reimagined through three unforgettable characters, four if we include Auntie Lulu, the all-seeing lunar power who guides everything.
This debut play by Nilgün Yusuf, directed by Renee Yeoung and an all-female production team, Nine Moons was awarded five stars by Theatre, Films and Arts Reviews and described as “a gory feminist call to arms” by London Pub Theatres. Audiences have been “inspired, moved and, enlightened” describing it as “cerebral” “visceral” and “beautifully structured.”

Queer Plays
The Queer collective project is made up of weekly creative sessions exploring and celebrating LGBTQIA+ performance-making.
The company has had the opportunity to explore and devise their work in workshops run by our brilliant facilitator team as well as taking part in focus workshops from Queer artists, looking at performance-making skills and forms such as drag, writing, movement, and vogue.
The project has also included traineeship opportunities for LGBTQIA+ individuals including two trainee facilitator positions and a trainee assistant producer role. During the performance of the project a trainee stage manager/tech op will also join the project.
The first part of the project, a series of workshops exploring performance skills has already taken place. We are getting ready to move onto the 2nd part of the project, with more workshops and a youth queer theatre group.

Christmas on Mars
‘Christmas on Mars’ by Harry Kondoleon
The American playwright Harry Kondoleon was once called a ‘theatrical comet of the 80s’. Though his career was brief, lasting just 14 years, he premiered 18 plays between the years 1980 and 1994.
‘Christmas on Mars’ opened in New York in June 1983. It is the story of an unconventional foursome who come to share a flat one Christmastime, written in Kondoleon’s strange, witty and antic comic style.
Bruno, an out-of-work actor, plans on marrying and setting up home with his partner, Audrey. But the couple’s future happiness is threatened by the arrival of two unexpected guests who refuse to leave.
First up is Nissim, a former flight attendant, who alleges he is, in fact, Bruno’s long-term boyfriend. Then comes Ingrid, Audrey’s estranged mother, who will do anything to atone for years of parental neglect.
This one-off, script-in-hand performance will be directed by Alastair Curtis, with music from Helen Noir and costumes by Max Allen and Elliott Adcock.
Our first batch of tickets will go on sale tomorrow, when we announce our cast.

Unforgotten Wrongs
Some say the lines between right and wrong have not always been blurred throughout history…
Many voices have been silenced…
…stories that were long buried can leave open wounds in society.
…we have not forgotten their names nor the injustices of history.
These are their stories!
